A skilled communicator and creative artist, Sheryl is recognized as a trusted navigator of strategic partnerships with career experience in the non-profit, corporate, civic and media sectors. She has served as Director of Outreach, Media & Special Projects for Tilth Alliance, a nonprofit organization that supports Washington's farming community and provides access to healthy food, where she helped to implement and co-lead Eat Local First and the WA Food & Farm Finder as well as numerous consumer-focused campaigns, events and publications in support of local farms and food. Over her last four decades in the Pacific Northwest she has worn hats as a journalist, publicist, writer, development professional, event creator and community advocate. She is also the founder of Pie + Persistence, a house concert series which has raised over $110,000 for more than 32 organizations around the United States.
